A psychosocial or mental health evaluation is a clinical report written by a licensed mental health professional to support your immigration case. It includes interviews, screening tools, and a narrative of how your mental, emotional, and relational well-being has been impacted by your immigration experience.

An evaluation can strengthen your case by giving your story professional credibility, emotional depth, and legal clarity. Judges and attorneys often rely on these evaluations to better understand the real-life effects of hardship, trauma, or separation.

Most evaluations are completed in 1–2 interviews, depending on your case. Each session is about 60–90 minutes.

For all other languages, a professional interpreter is required to ensure accuracy, neutrality, and the integrity of your evaluation. Family members or friends may not serve as interpreters, as this may compromise the quality and credibility of your report.
